This is a small but helpful update. It mostly matters if you use Zed's built-in AI assistant, but it also includes a key fix for anyone downloading or opening a new coding project from the internet.
What's new
- New AI model available: You can now use "Claude Fable 5" with Zed's AI assistant. This is part of the "BYOK" (Bring Your Own Key) feature, which just means you plug in your own personal Anthropic account key to use these AI models inside the editor.
Fixes
- "Trust repository" button fixed: When you open a folder of code that you downloaded from the internet, Zed asks if you "trust" the project to make sure it's safe. Previously, clicking the "Trust" button was broken and wouldn't do anything, leaving you stuck. This update makes the button work properly so you can open your project without a hitch.
