Warp August 25, 2026 Changelog

This update is all about giving developers better tools to manage their work, from building software pipelines to easily checking their AI usage limits. It matters most to developers and teams who use Warp to code, especially those who use the web version or rely on Warp's AI agent to get things done.

What's new

• Warp Factories (Early Access): A new feature to help you build and manage "software factories"—automated pipelines that handle the steps of creating and releasing software. It's in Early Access, meaning it's ready to play with but still being actively developed.
• Inline /usage command: You can now type /usage directly into the Warp Agent command line to instantly see your current subscription plan, how many AI credits you've used, and links to manage your billing.

Fixes

• Memory leak from big pastes: Previously, if you pasted a massive block of text into the terminal, the app's auto-complete system would hog more and more memory the longer you kept it open. This bug is fixed, so the app will run smoothly now.
• Web font glitch: On the web version of Warp, the Shift (⇧) symbol in keyboard shortcut hints looked way too bold, oversized, and out of line compared to the Command (⌘) or Option (⌥) symbols. It now looks normal.
• Web border bug: We removed a tiny, stray 1-pixel border around the workspace on Warp Web that used to get awkwardly cut off by the browser's rounded corners.
• Cloud agent error: Fixed an issue where Warp's cloud agent (a tool that runs tasks for you) would sometimes lose connection and show a "server not found" error if its secure, temporary environment was rebuilt while it was working on a task.
