This update is all about making your workspace more organized and giving you smarter AI assistance. It matters most to developers who use Warp's Agent Mode heavily, work on remote servers, or just want a more customized, bug-free terminal experience.

What's new

• Color-coded folders: You can now assign specific colors to different folders in your Settings. When you open a tab in that folder, it automatically changes to match.
• Tab summaries: If you have a lot of tabs open, you can turn on a "summary mode" to get a compact overview of what each tab is actually doing instead of just seeing long file names.

Improvements

• Agent Mode shortcut helper: You can now ask the AI Agent to change your keyboard shortcuts, and it will edit the settings file for you.
• Vim keyboard shortcuts: For people who use Vim text editor commands, scrolling up and down now moves exactly half a page, and the zz shortcut centers your cursor on the screen.
• Better conversation history: When looking back at AI conversations, you can now hover over commands to see exactly when they started, ended, and how long they took to run.
• Smarter AI safety: When an AI agent asks you a question, it now pauses to make sure you actually answer before it runs off and does something else.
• Faster command search: The command search menu opens much faster now, even if you're working in a huge project with tons of files.
• Better remote connections: Connecting to remote servers over SSH is now more reliable. If the connection drops during setup, it automatically tries again.
• Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) fixes: If you use WSL to run Linux tools on Windows, it now naturally prefers Linux versions of tools like Git and GitHub.
• Mermaid diagram controls: Mermaid is a tool that turns text into charts and diagrams. You can now easily switch between viewing the raw text or the final rendered chart.
• Cleaner file paths: When picking files from a menu, long folder paths are shortened so the actual name of the project stays visible. Hovering over it shows the full path.
• New tab cycling option: You can now change your settings so that hitting Ctrl+Tab cycles through your most recently used tabs.
• More customizable keys: You can now create a custom keyboard shortcut to rename your workspace panes, rather than having to right-click them every time.

Fixes

• Restoring tabs fixed: Fixed an issue where reopening saved tabs wouldn't bring back your previous chat history correctly.
• No more duplicate text: Fixed a glitch where restoring cloud conversations would accidentally paste commands twice.
• AI file edits are safer: Fixed a bug where the AI might accidentally cut off the end of a line of code when making multi-line edits to your files.
• No more crashes: Fixed a crash that happened if the app's file watcher failed to start up.
• Hidden cursors in shared sessions: If you're sharing a session with someone, they can no longer see your mouse cursor moving around.
• Arrow keys fixed: Fixed an issue where pressing the arrow keys in the AI terminal would get "stuck" and not let you move your cursor.
• Accurate AI cost tracking: Cloud AI runs now correctly show the total cost of the computing power used, instead of sometimes hiding the number.
• Better AI tool connections: Fixed issues where MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers—a way for AI to connect to outside tools—would disconnect when their login tokens expired, or fail to start if they offered too many tools.
• Multi-repo memory: The code review panel now remembers which Git folder you were looking at, even if you leave the page and come back.
• No more blank chats: Fixed a bug where joining a cloud conversation would sometimes show up completely empty.
• Windows and Linux text selection: Fixed an annoying bug where highlighting text on lines that wrapped around the screen wouldn't work correctly.
• Windows updates unblocked: Fixed an issue where a hidden "zombie" background process would stop Windows from auto-updating the app.
• GitHub rate limit saved: The app no longer constantly checks GitHub for updates every 30 seconds, which used to eat up your allowed number of GitHub requests.
• Remote file syncing: Fixed an issue where your local file changes weren't showing up in the remote file tree view.
• Cleaner UI: Fixed unreadable text colors when switching between light and dark themes, and stopped diagram placeholders from spinning forever if a chart failed to load.
