This update is all about making v0 faster and easier to use, especially if you're building real apps. It matters a lot to developers and teams who want to connect their AI-generated projects to outside tools like Shopify or Snowflake, but it also includes quality-of-life improvements that make chatting with the AI smoother for everyone.

What's new

• Slash commands: You can now type / in the text box to quickly search and add "skills" (special abilities or tools) without leaving your keyboard. They show up as little drag-and-drop chips, just like attaching a file.
• Shopify integration: You can now connect v0 directly to a Shopify store. v0 will read your real products, prices, and inventory to build a working online storefront for you.
• Sound notifications: v0 will play a little chime when it finishes answering if you're looking at another window. You can turn this off in Settings.
• Better GitHub and chat management: Settings now shows your GitHub connection status clearly. You can also request access to private team chats, save chats to your favorites, and publish certain chats even if they don't have deployable code blocks.
• Smarter titles: v0 now names your chats and projects based on what the app actually does, rather than the boring technical details of how it was built.
• Easier publishing: The wizard for publishing your app for the first time is simpler, and the settings menu for managing outside connections got a clean redesign.

Improvements

• Smarter Snowflake connections: If you use Snowflake (a cloud data platform), v0 now uses your team's real account instead of fake test data. It also alerts you to re-deploy if the code has changed since you last updated it.
• Smoother text streaming: The AI's responses now flow in steadily instead of coming in random, choppy bursts.
• Cleaner imports: The panel for importing design systems opens as a full side panel, making it easier to add files directly.

Fixes

• Snowflake crashes and glitches: Fixed a ton of Snowflake bugs, including infinite loading spinners, flickering screens, and crashes when viewing shared chats without an account. Connections now also copy correctly when you duplicate a chat.
• Git and GitHub fixes: Fixed an issue where creating a GitHub repo from a team chat failed with a confusing SAML (security) error. Chat titles from Git repos no longer use messy branch names, and the AI is better at retrying code pushes if there's a conflict.
• No more lost text: If you're typing a prompt and a permission pop-up or clarifying question appears, your typed text will no longer get deleted.
• Preview glitches: Fixed several weird visual bugs, like duplicate loading screens, the v0 logo randomly expanding, and previews not showing up until after the first generation.
• Security upgrades: Fixed a few security holes, including a vulnerability with magic-link logins and an issue where login redirects could send you to the wrong place.
• Other annoying bugs: Duplicating a chat no longer breaks the first build, accidentally bumping a YubiKey security key won't send your password into the chat box, and canceled subscription plans now show the correct end date.
