This update is all about making your daily workflow smoother and less frustrating. It matters to anyone who uses the platform to code, especially if you rely on voice typing or have run into annoying glitches when trying to connect your tools.

What's new

  • Easier logins for company accounts: If your school or workplace uses a login system called SAML (a secure way to log in using one central company password), you now get a special link to re-verify your identity when connecting your code storage (repositories).
  • Better credit lifespan: Your monthly credits (the virtual tokens you spend to use the platform's computing power) now last 65 days instead of just 30. You have way more time to use them before they disappear!
  • Synced website icons: When you open a live preview of your project, the little icon (favicon) from that preview now shows up in your web browser's address bar, making it easier to tell which tab is yours.

Improvements

  • Smoother voice typing on iPhones: If you use Apple's dictation (voice-to-text) feature, it used to make the typing box grow weirdly large while you were talking. That glitch is gone, so the text box stays the right size.

Fixes

  • Terminal access fixed: Sometimes the main computer running your code (the VM) would show an error, but the safe, isolated testing area (the sandbox) was still running fine. Previously, this locked you out of the terminal. Now, you can get back into the terminal even if the main VM is having a bad day.
  • Hidden duplicate button: We removed a confusing "Duplicate" button that was showing up for people who didn't actually own the project. Only owners should see it, and now that's exactly how it works.
