This update is all about smoothing out the rough edges. If you use v0 to build projects—especially as part of a team—this release gives you better security controls for your work and fixes a handful of visual bugs that made the app feel clunky.

What's new

• Project privacy controls: You can now adjust visibility (like making a project private or public) and set passwords directly in your project settings.
• Helpful tooltips: If the "New Chat" button is ever grayed out (disabled), you can now hover your mouse over it to see a little text box explaining why you can't click it yet.

Improvements

• Fresh icon design: The small icon used for the "auto model" feature (which lets the system automatically pick the best AI for your prompt) got a sleek, modern update to a circular "radial" design.

Fixes

• Flickering sign-in screen: When connecting your project to GitHub, the login window used to flash annoyingly while loading. That visual glitch is gone.
• Broken upgrade buttons: If you were on a free team plan, the buttons asking you to upgrade to a paid tier weren't working right. They now function properly.
• Glitchy loading animations: We fixed the timing on two things: the spinning "loading" animation on certain buttons, and the loading screen for "VM diffs" (the visual comparison that shows what changed inside your virtual machine). Both now load smoothly without stuttering.
