This update is all about making your workflow smoother and less frustrating. It matters especially to web developers using Nuxt, or anyone who builds custom design systems and wants better cost tracking and fewer glitches.
What's new
- Support for Nuxt and Nuxt UI: Nuxt is a popular framework for building websites. You can now use it (and its matching design toolkit, Nuxt UI) directly in the app.
Improvements
- Better Design System editor: The interface (the screen where you customize how your app looks) is now easier to use.
- Clearer error messages: When a project fails to create or an "OAuth" login fails (OAuth is just the secure system that lets you sign in using another account, like Google), the app now tells you exactly what went wrong instead of giving a confusing error.
- Better Usage page: When you hover your mouse over your usage stats, the little pop-up tooltips now show every type of "token" cost. Tokens are basically the chunks of text the AI reads and writes, and this helps you see exactly what you're being billed for.
- No more spellcheck in the prompt box: The spellchecker was turned off in the text box where you type your messages to the AI, so it won't annoyingly flag code or technical words as misspelled.
Fixes
- Analytics visibility: Fixed a bug where your analytics (traffic and usage data) were completely invisible for "non-git" projects right after you set them up. Non-git just means projects that aren't connected to a code-sharing platform like GitHub.
- Empty AI messages: Fixed an issue where blank messages from the AI assistant would pop up on your screen if you stopped the AI while it was working.
