This update is all about giving you more control and making app creation feel more like magic. It matters to everyone from solo coders to large teams: you can now design apps visually, pick exactly how smart your AI helper is, and connect to outside software more easily.
What's new
- Replit Design: You can now type out what you want to build, look at an interactive visual draft (a mockup), and tweak it until it looks right. If you have a Core or Pro account, you can turn that visual draft straight into a working app without leaving your project.
- Choose your Agent's AI model: The "Agent" is Replit's AI coding assistant. You can now pick which AI brain it uses to solve your tasks. You can choose Lite (fast and basic), Economy, or Power (heavy-duty). Lite even works on the Replit mobile app.
- Connect more MCP servers: MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a way for AI to securely talk to outside apps and grab data from them. You can now easily connect your project to tools like Supabase (databases), Statsig (analytics), and Calendly (scheduling). Replit also now officially recognizes Braintrust, automatically starting its secure sign-in process when you add it.
Improvements
- A rebuilt usage page: The page where you track how much computing power your team is using got a major redesign. It's rolling out to new customers and certain enterprise (large business) accounts. You can now easily sort your usage by date, project, team member, or resource.
- Stay signed in longer: Replit won't kick you out and make you log in again nearly as fast as before. For Enterprise accounts, admins can now set specific timers for how long a user can stay logged in before the system times them out.
