This update is all about making Replit more flexible and convenient. It’s a big deal for developers who are always on the go, teams that rely on Slack to communicate, and anyone looking to save money on hosting their apps.

What's new

• Build from your phone: The Replit mobile app has a brand new home screen. You can now swipe easily between your AI Agent, your task list, and a preview of your app. Even cooler, you can describe what you want to build just by speaking, and your phone will give you live updates on the AI's progress.
• Slack integration for Agent: If you connect your Slack account to Replit, your AI Agent can now search through your Slack messages, files, channels, and contacts. It can read private chats and thread replies to get context for your project, and it can even send messages for you or update Slack canvases (which are shared digital whiteboards in Slack).

Improvements

• Easier plan changes: If you pay for a Pro subscription, you can now switch between different individual Pro tiers (levels of membership) or change how often you're billed right from your settings. Before you hit confirm, Replit will tell you exactly if the change happens right away or at the end of your current paid month.
• Cheaper cloud hosting: Starting August 1, it costs less to run your projects on Replit Cloud. Price drops apply to deployments (putting your app live on the internet), app storage, and outbound data transfer (the data sent from your app to your users). You don't have to do anything; the new prices will apply automatically to your live projects when your next billing cycle starts.
