This update is all about saving you time and making creative work easier. It matters a lot to developers building apps, especially if you are trying to add payments, upgrade your team's account, or use AI to generate media like 3D models, audio, and video without switching to outside tools.
What's new
- Instant Enterprise upgrades: You can upgrade to Replit Enterprise from any account type (Free, Core, or Pro) right from your settings. You don't have to contact the sales team first. If you share projects with a team, they automatically move to your new Enterprise setup when you pay, and any apps you already published stay online the whole time.
- Easier Stripe connection: Stripe is a popular tool for handling payments in apps. Before, you had to copy and paste secret "API keys" (passwords that let apps talk to each other) to connect Stripe. Now, you just install the Replit payments app from the Stripe Marketplace, and it sets up the connection for you.
- 3D model generation: There is a new tool called Tripo3D. You can ask Replit's AI to create a 3D model just from a text description or an image. This is great for making games or product designs. It costs Replit credits to use.
- AI audio creation: Replit's AI assistant (called Agent) can now make audio. You can ask it to create background music, sound effects, or spoken narration, and it will drop the audio files straight into your project. This also costs Replit credits.
- Media generation on Canvas: Canvas is Replit's visual design board. You can now create images, vector graphics (drawings that don't get blurry when you zoom in), or videos right on the board. You don't have to switch to a different app to make your media.
Improvements
- The workflow for designing and adding media to your projects is much smoother. Because you can generate images, videos, and audio right on the Canvas or through the AI assistant, you can build and tweak your projects without constantly switching between different websites or software tools.
