Replit April 3, 2026 Changelog

Replit's AI assistant (called the Agent) is great at building things for you, but keeping track of what it makes can be tricky. This update is all about making your workflow smoother, especially if you use Replit for big school presentations or complex coding projects. It fixes a few annoying bugs and makes sure the files and slides you create are easy to find and export.

What's new

• Images in the Library: When the AI assistant downloads a stock photo or creates a brand-new image for your project, those pictures now show up right in your Library sidebar. Before, they were hidden away in your project files, but now you can easily browse and reuse them whenever you need to.

Improvements

• Bigger slide exports: If you are building a giant presentation (we're talking 150 slides or more!), exporting it used to be risky. Now, the system is smarter about giving large presentations extra time to process. You can safely export decks with over 200 slides without the system giving up halfway through.

Fixes

• Plan Mode activation: "Plan Mode" is a feature that makes the AI think through a step-by-step plan before actually writing code. Previously, if you tried to turn this mode on *after* you already started chatting with the AI, the system would just ignore you. That bug is squashed, so now it turns on exactly when you ask it to.
