This release is a relatively small but important update, mostly aimed at fixing user interface bugs and improving how the software handles settings. It matters most to administrators who manage large teams using OpenHands, as well as anyone who was frustrated by clunky settings menus in the previous version.
What's new
- Super-admin management: Added a new tool for top-level administrators. It lets them easily grant, revoke, or list special "super-admin" privileges, making it much easier to control who has the ultimate power over the system.
Fixes
- Settings page scrolling: Fixed a layout bug where the settings page wouldn't scroll properly. Now you can easily move up and down the page without getting stuck.
- Hidden "Skills" menu: Fixed the settings sidebar so it scrolls correctly. Previously, if you were part of an organization, the "Skills" section was cut off and impossible to reach.
- Agent communication fixes: Fixed a couple of technical glitches (involving something called the "flat mcp_config") to make sure the main app correctly shares settings with its AI agents.
- Server image tracking: Fixed an issue to ensure the app always pulls the correct version of its background software based on the current package version.
