Improvements
- Easier Azure login: If you use Microsoft Azure to run AI, you can now log in using your standard Microsoft work or school account (Entra ID) through your computer's command line. This means you don't have to hunt down a special API key (a long, complicated password) just to use it.
- Better settings compatibility: The app now understands some of the newer settings files. This means if you're using a mix of older and newer versions of the app, your settings won't break.
Fixes
- Saved Amazon Bedrock thoughts: Amazon Bedrock is an AI service that can "reason" (think through a problem before answering). Previously, when the app tried to save those thought processes, it accidentally saved them as empty, broken messages. Now they save correctly.
- Instantly hidden archives: When you archived a chat session, it used to stick around on your home screen until you refreshed the page. Now, it disappears the moment you archive it.
- Typing cursor restored: In pop-up windows (called "dialogs"), if you had multiple stacked on top of each other, your blinking typing cursor would sometimes disappear. We fixed it so you can type without having to click the box again.
- Updated web search guides: Thanks to community members, the instructions now correctly list Exa and Parallel as options for searching the web.
