This release is a maintenance update focused on cleaning up bugs. It mostly matters to developers using specific AI providers (like Amazon Bedrock or OpenAI alternatives) or logging in on their devices, making sure their workflow is smooth and error-free.
Fixes
- Removed outdated messaging and pricing for an old "first-month discount" that was no longer relevant.
- Fixed an issue with device login links. If a server sent a partial web address instead of a full one, the login link would break.
- Fixed a bug where a setting called
textVerbosity(which controls how wordy an AI's response is) was being sent to AI providers that don't support it. This caused errors, so the app now checks if the provider can handle it before sending. - Updated the Amazon Bedrock provider (a service for accessing AI models) to fix some compatibility issues.
- Fixed a visual bug in the desktop app where the labels for model providers would disappear when you scrolled down the list to pick an AI model.
