This update is all about quality-of-life improvements. It’s especially important for people using the desktop app, as it fixes a bunch of visual glitches and weird behaviors to make your coding experience much less frustrating.

Fixes

  • Stopped endless reconnect loops: Sometimes, when trying to connect to a server using a specific live-update method (MCP SSE), the app would get stuck endlessly trying to reconnect if the server sent an error. That loop is now fixed.
  • Fixed custom AI settings: If you were using an AI provider that sends its "thinking" steps in a slightly unusual format (like reasoning_text), the app was getting confused. It now reads these custom setups correctly.
  • Links open in your real browser: When you click a web link in the desktop app, it now opens in your computer's default web browser instead of trying to open it inside the app itself.
  • Fixed frozen tab labels: The tabs at the top of the app were sometimes showing old, outdated information. They now update properly when you switch tasks.
  • Smarter folder picker: When choosing a folder on your computer and the app doesn't know your main user directory yet, it will now safely start looking from your home screen.
  • Fixed squished file menus: When making the window smaller, the file tree menu used to get awkwardly cut off. It now resizes cleanly.
  • Aligned code editor labels: In the code editor, the little numbers and text labels used for debugging were out of line. They are now perfectly lined up.
