This release is all about making your coding assistant smoother and more intuitive to use. If you use the desktop app to write code with AI, you'll notice a cleaner layout, better-looking text, and faster access to free AI models.

What's new

• A new free-model selector: A faster menu that lets you quickly choose from a wider variety of free AI models and the services (providers) that run them.
• Tabs introduction popup: A helpful little pop-up window that explains how to use tabs, which you can easily close once you've got the hang of it.

Improvements

• Better help menu: The main help button and menu have been refreshed to make finding support much easier.
• Cleaner task lists: The rows showing what "sub-agents" (smaller AI helpers working in the background) are doing have been redesigned to match the modern look of the app.
• Clearer "undo" options: The panel used to revert or go back to previous versions of your work has been restyled so it's obvious how to restore your code.

Fixes

• Cut-off letters: In the menu where you select AI models, "descenders"—the parts of letters that hang below the line, like *g*, *y*, and *p*—were being cut off at the bottom. This visual bug is now fixed.
• Meta AI communication: Fixed behind-the-scenes issues with how the app handles Meta's AI models, especially when using models designed for step-by-step reasoning or when requesting them from different online providers.
