This update is all about saving you from frustrating moments. If you're building an app and suddenly run out of your AI usage credits, you no longer lose your work. It also quietly upgrades the AI "brain" that runs your app's smart features, making them better behind the scenes.
What's new
- Smart pausing when credits run out: If you run out of credits while Lovable is writing code or replying to you, the work just pauses. A pop-up card will ask what you want to do next. You can choose to add more credits to finish exactly where you left off, or "wrap up" so the AI can safely finish what it was doing and stop. If you don't control the billing, the card gives you an "Ask an admin" button to request more credits. There's no time limit—the paused work will wait for you.
Improvements
- Better default AI model: The "brain" running your app's AI features (like chatbots or text tools) has been upgraded to a newer, faster version called Gemini 3.7 Flash. You don't have to do anything to get this; it happens automatically when you create new features.
