If you've ever been frustrated when an AI rewrites your entire project plan just to fix one small detail, this update is for you. It gives you much finer control over your plans, making it easier for anyone who likes to tweak their ideas step-by-step without starting over.
What's new
- Highlight to revise: In Plan mode, you can now use your mouse to highlight a specific sentence or paragraph. A small text box will pop up where you can type exactly what you want changed. Lovable will only rewrite that highlighted part instead of redoing the whole plan.
- Change tracking (diff view): When Lovable updates your plan, it now opens as a "diff" (a side-by-side or marked-up view showing changes). Text that was removed is crossed out, and new text is highlighted. You can switch between viewing these changes and editing the full plan using buttons at the top of the screen.
Improvements
- Better mobile planning: You can still highlight text and ask for changes on your phone, but the visual "diff" view (the crossed-out and highlighted text) is only available on a computer, not on mobile devices. This keeps the mobile app running smoothly without a cluttered screen.
