Lovable July 29, 2026 Changelog

What changed in Lovable app builder July 29, 2026, released 2026-07-29 — explained in plain English.

TLDR
  • Lovable can now connect directly to two major data platforms: Amazon Redshift and Microsoft Fabric.
  • You can use these connections to build dashboards and internal tools that read your company's data.
  • The security scanner got smarter and will stop warning you about harmless software bugs that can't actually affect your live app.
  • This release is all about connecting your apps to massive databases and making security checks less annoying. It matters most to builders creating data-heavy dashboards or internal business tools, and to anyone who has ever been frustrated by security warnings for problems that don't actually matter.

What's new

  • Amazon Redshift connection: You can now link your app to Amazon Redshift (a giant data storage system). Your app can ask the database questions (using code called SQL) and use the answers to build analytics dashboards or reports.
  • Microsoft Fabric connection: You can now link your app to Microsoft Fabric (another big data platform). This lets your apps read and write data across different types of databases to power operations dashboards and internal tools.
  • Easier setup: You can add these new data connections by going to the "Connectors" tab or just asking Lovable to connect them right inside your project.

Improvements

  • Smarter security scans: When the system checks your app for security flaws, it no longer gives you false alarms. Sometimes a piece of software has a known critical bug, but it's only used during the building phase and never actually runs in your live app. The scanner will now leave a simple info note explaining why it's safe, instead of telling you to fix it. It also won't count these harmless items against your total bug count.
