This update is all about making things more flexible and less frustrating. It matters most to app builders who want to give their users secure, personalized connections to outside tools like Notion, or anyone who has ever gotten stuck trying to set up payment systems and didn't know what to do next.

What's new

  • Connect your app users to their own Notion: You can now let each person who uses your app log into their own Notion account. This means your app can read and write to their specific Notion pages on their behalf, instead of forcing everyone to share one single Notion account. You just set up the connection once in your settings, and your users handle the rest with their own logins.
  • Always-on Payments menu: The Payments section is now always visible in your project menu if you have editing access. Even if you haven't set up payments yet, or if you lack the right permissions, the menu will show up and tell you exactly why it isn't working and what you need to do next. It used to just be hidden entirely.
  • Easier domain fixes for Paddle payments: When setting up payments through Paddle, if there is an issue with your website's domain (the web address used for checkout), you'll now see an "Action required" button. This lets you fix the problem and resubmit it yourself, saving you from having to email customer support.

Improvements

  • Better connector search: When you search for a connector (a tool that links your app to outside services like Notion or Stripe), Lovable now puts a "Recommended" option at the very top of your search results. It points you toward the tool that usually works best for what you need, but you can still pick any other option from the list.
