This update is all about making your workflow smoother and saving you money. It gives you smarter search options, lets you easily talk to the AI about managing your server power, and helps workspace admins keep better track of their team's projects.

What's new

  • Search your settings: Instead of hunting through menus, you can now just type what you're looking for in a search box in the settings menu. It even understands common nicknames (like typing "env" to find your secret environment variables).
  • Tag connectors in chat: You can now type the @ symbol in your chat with Lovable to tag an "app connector" (a tool that links your project to outside apps). This helps you easily point out exactly which tool you want the AI to use.
  • Pause your cloud project: If you aren't actively working on a project, you can now hit "Pause" to put its backend (the server, database, and storage) to sleep. This stops it from eating up your computing credits. The live app won't work while paused, but your data is totally safe and you can hit "Wake up" to bring it back online.
  • Resize your server in chat: If your app is running slow under heavy traffic, you can just ask Lovable in chat to upgrade your server size. The AI will pop up a menu letting you pick a bigger or smaller server (which changes the CPU and memory) based on what you need.
  • Manage SSO auto-add: "SSO" (Single Sign-On) is a secure way for companies to let employees log in using one main account. Admins on Enterprise plans can now turn on "Just-in-Time provisioning," which just means new users are automatically added to the workspace the first time they log in, saving admins from having to invite everyone manually.
  • Workspace insights for Business plans: Admins on Business plans now get a dashboard to see, search, and scan all the projects their team is building in one place. This used to be an Enterprise-only feature.

Improvements

  • AI image labeling: Any image the Lovable AI creates or edits for you now has hidden background data (called metadata) that labels it as "AI-generated." This means sites like Google or social media platforms will know it was made by AI. It doesn't change how the images look or what they cost, it just keeps things transparent.
