Lovable is giving companies a new way to protect their work. This update matters mainly to "Enterprise" users (think bigger companies or teams using Lovable for professional projects) who want to keep their software code from getting downloaded by just anyone on the team.
What's new
- Code download restrictions: Admins and workspace owners now have a switch in their settings (under *Security & compliance → Privacy & security*) to turn off code downloads.
- How it works: When this is turned off, only admins and owners can download a project's source code (the underlying files that make the app work) as a "zip file" (a compressed folder). Regular team members will see the download button grayed out and won't be able to use it.
