This update is all about giving you better control over how the AI works and making the whole interface less clunky. It matters most to developers who are using the Agent Manager to test different AI models, or anyone working on complex projects where the AI needs to remember a lot of context.

What's new

• Stop and remove agent sessions: You can now tell an AI agent to stop what it's doing and completely remove a specific session from the Agent Manager.
• Choose "reasoning effort" per model: When comparing different AI models, you can now set how hard each one thinks (its "effort level"). This lets you see how a fast, low-effort AI compares to a slow, high-effort AI on the exact same prompt.
• Custom file indexing: You can now create an "allowlist" (a list of approved file types) so the AI only scans specific files when learning about your codebase. This saves time and ignores junk files.
• Keyboard shortcut for effort levels: You can now press Shift+Tab while typing a prompt to quickly cycle through how hard the AI should think. You can turn this off in settings if it gets in the way of normal typing.
• New worktree shortcuts: You can now open the menu to create a new "worktree" (a separate workspace for testing code) using keyboard shortcuts or main menu buttons.

Improvements

• Simpler AI memory: The way the AI remembers your project (its "memory") is much cleaner. It now inspects folders instead of making you edit things directly, and it handles empty projects better.
• Better reload warnings: If you try to reload the app while an AI is still working, it now gives you a clear warning instead of a generic "Reload failed" error.
• Right-to-left text support: If you are chatting in a language that reads right-to-left (like Arabic or Hebrew), or mixing languages, the text will now display in the correct direction.
• Cleaner terminal prompts: When the AI asks for your approval to run a command in the terminal, it now shows certain code blocks as plain text, making them easier to read.
• Clearer conversation reverts: If you try to undo a conversation but it doesn't fix the files on your computer, the app now explains exactly why.
• More models available: The chat menu now includes AI models that can output images, not just text.

Fixes

• Scroll position bug: Fixed an issue where switching between different file changes in the chat would leave you looking at the wrong part of the file.
• Linux sandbox crash: Fixed a problem on Linux where the security sandbox would crash if it found a folder it didn't have permission to read. It now just makes those folders read-only and keeps working.
• Diff text bleeding: Fixed a visual glitch where text from file changes would bleed through and overlap with the sticky headers at the top of the screen when scrolling.
• Frozen sessions: Fixed a bug where older local review commands would finish running but leave the AI session stuck and unusable.
• Double scrollbars: Fixed an annoying issue in the new-worktree menu where two scrollbars would appear at the same time. The text box now grows with your text instead.
