Kilo Code v7.3.45 Changelog

This update is all about making your experience smoother and less annoying, especially if you use Kilo Code inside VS Code. It matters to anyone who uses AI to help write or review code, because it gives you better control over how the AI behaves right from the start, makes its feedback easier to read, and fixes a few annoying bugs that got in your way.

What's new

• Pick your AI's independence level: When you first install Kilo Code in VS Code, you can now choose an "autonomy preset." This just means you get to decide upfront how much freedom the AI has to make changes on its own without asking you first.
• Easier model selection: You can now use special web links (deep links) to quickly pick specific AI models from the Kilo Gateway catalog, saving you from having to hunt through menus to find the right one.

Improvements

• Cleaner review comments: When the AI submits review comments on your code, they now show up as neat, interactive message cards instead of raw markdown (which is just messy, unformatted text). It looks much nicer and is easier to read.
• Fewer annoying warnings: The AI used to show warning messages if a task didn't go perfectly, even if it was just because it hadn't finished its to-do list yet. Now, it hides those specific warnings so you aren't bothered by false alarms.

Fixes

• Canceling stuck tasks: Previously, if you started an AI task and it was taking a while to load, you couldn't stop it. Now, you can just hit the Escape key to cancel the prompt while it's still starting up, so you don't have to sit there waiting if you change your mind.
