What's new
- Quick plugin updates: In the plugins tab, you can now just press the
ukey on your keyboard to quickly update your selected add-on. You will also see a quick, friendly success message that doesn't interrupt what you are doing. - Tracking AI "thinking" time: The app now saves how much "reasoning effort" (how hard the AI had to think to answer your prompt) directly into your conversation history files.
Improvements
- Smoother scrolling: Moving up and down your chats with a trackpad or mouse wheel feels much more natural now, and you can customize the scroll speed and style to your liking.
- Smarter search: When searching for past chat sessions, the app is much better at finding exact matches for multiple words, filenames, and plural words. Plus, if you type two or more characters in the search bar, it will automatically search the actual text inside your conversations.
- Cleaner AI tool steps: When the AI does multiple background tasks in a row (like searching the web or reading files), it now groups them into a single row so your screen doesn't get cluttered with technical steps.
Fixes
- No more locked-out chats: If the app closed unexpectedly while saving, it used to corrupt the file and permanently prevent you from opening that chat again. Now, the app can safely bypass those broken lines and load your chat anyway.
- Better search indexing: Fixed a bug where the search tool would miss messages that contained special formatting characters, like quotation marks or line breaks.
- Colorful links: Fixed a visual glitch where website links would lose their distinct color if you made them bold, *italic*, or ~~crossed out~~.
