This update is all about making the app smoother and less frustrating to use. It matters most to developers and power users who rely on it for coding help, giving them smarter automation, quicker keyboard navigation, and better protection against crashes when dealing with huge amounts of text.

What's new

• Smarter command approvals: When you tell the app to "always allow" certain terminal commands, you can now use flexible matching rules (called "glob patterns"—think of using an asterisk * to match any word) instead of just approving commands that start with a specific word.
• Quick jump for long answers: If an AI gives you a really long response, a clickable arrow now appears that instantly scrolls you back to the beginning.
• More auto-pilot actions: In "Auto mode," the app will now automatically approve safe, read-only Git commands (like checking your code history) and harmless additions to files, saving you from having to manually click "allow" every time.
• Better plan previews: When viewing project plans, you now get buttons to easily open, copy, or view the code for Mermaid diagrams (which are flowcharts made from text).

Improvements

• Faster side questions: If you ask a quick side question (using the /btw command), the app now reuses memory from your main chat to answer you much faster.
• Quicker startup: The app's health check tool and its background terminal manager now launch much faster when there are no leftover background processes hanging around.

Fixes

• Dead connection recovery: Sometimes the app's connection to its server would silently die (a "dead socket"). It now detects this and reconnects more reliably.
• Keyboard navigation in questions: When answering multiple-choice questions in the app, pressing the Tab key to switch answers used to get stuck. That focus-stealing bug is fixed.
• Garbage text crashes: If you accidentally pasted random junk text into the session resume menu and hit Enter, the app used to try loading it and break. It now safely ignores it.
• Giant log crashes: When a background task finished, it used to try displaying the entire log at once. If the log was huge, it would grow out of control and freeze. It now handles massive logs safely.
• Scrollbar fixes: The scrollbar in the plan viewer now works when you click its edges, and weird dark stripes are gone for Mac users using the default Terminal app.
• Login loop fix: If your login token for an outside service expired, the app used to get stuck silently failing in the background. It now correctly pops up the login screen so you can sign back in.
