This update is all about preventing annoying freezes and accidental deletions. It is especially helpful if you use a lot of add-ons or push the app with really long conversations that need to be summarized to save memory.
What's new
- Deletion warnings: When you go to remove an MCP server (an external tool the app can talk to), a plugin, or a hook (a script that triggers automatically), the app now asks you to confirm. You just press 'y' to proceed, which stops you from accidentally deleting something you actually need.
Fixes
- Fixed session freezes: If you tried to start a new chat and your computer's hard drive was completely full, the app used to get stuck forever on the "Starting session…" message. Now, it instantly shows you a clear error message so you know exactly what went wrong.
- Fixed login timeouts during auto-compact: "Auto-compact" is a feature that summarizes your long chat history to save memory. Previously, if your security login token expired while the app was trying to summarize your chat, the process would just fail. Now, it will pause, let you log back in, and automatically finish summarizing your chat and answering your original question.
