This update is all about making your workflow smoother and less frustrating. If you use other AI coding assistants (like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor), Grok can now easily find your past work so you can pick up right where you left off. The rest of the update focuses on fixing small glitchesβ€”like text disappearing, screens looking frozen, or the app crashing when you close a windowβ€”so your coding sessions feel much more reliable.

What's new

  • One-Click Session Resuming: When you open the app, a new "session picker" and a welcome screen prompt will automatically find your recent work from other AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor) so you can resume them instantly.

Fixes

  • Saving Web Pages: When the tool grabs information from the web, it will now save long, cut-off pages as readable files (called "artifacts") instead of just throwing the extra text away.
  • Smoother Typing and Queuing: Fixed issues where pressing "Enter" too quickly or trying to send messages while the AI was still thinking would cause your commands to get stuck, delayed, or lost.
  • Better Dark Mode Contrast: "Minimal mode" text is now bright and easy to read on dark terminal screens, and your prompts will be clearly highlighted.
  • No More Crashes on Close: The app will no longer crash if you close your terminal window while it is trying to show you a tip about resuming your work.
  • Accurate Loading Screens: For tasks that take a long time, the status icons will actually update to show progress instead of looking like the app is frozen.
  • Respecting Your Settings: If you turn off integrations (hooks) for Claude or Cursor in your settings, the app will now properly keep them turned off when you start a new session.
