This update is all about making the app smoother and less frustrating to use. It’s especially helpful if you spend a lot of time chatting, sharing files, or running automated tasks, because it cleans up background glitches and makes your work easier to look at.

What's new

  • Open files outside the app: When you get a preview of a file (an "artifact"), you can now click to open it in whatever program your computer normally uses for that kind of file.

Improvements

  • Clearer code font: When you're looking at computer code in the app, it now uses a font called "Geist Mono." This style makes every letter line up neatly, making the code much easier to read.
  • Messages with only files: You used to have to type something to send a chat message. Now, you can send a message that contains only an attached file, like an image or document.

Fixes

  • Typing clash fixed: On some keyboards, pressing Option+E to type an accent mark (like in "café") used to accidentally trigger a shortcut to open approval details. That interference is fixed.
  • Frozen screen fixed: After looking at a project's plan details, the chat log (transcript) used to sometimes glitch out and not draw correctly on the screen. It now refreshes properly.
  • Fake warning removed: If you removed a computer from the system, it used to pop up a scary warning saying it was saving or "archiving" your session. That warning was a mistake and is now gone.
  • Pausing fixed: When running automated tasks ("missions"), they used to keep running even if the main system manager (the orchestrator) got interrupted. They now pause correctly.
  • Background cleanup: Sometimes, when the app used a built-in browser to do automated work, the background processes wouldn't close properly and got left running invisibly. The app now reliably cleans up these leftover "orphaned" processes.
  • Clearer broken sessions: If a chat session gets corrupted and can't be opened, the app used to just sit there. Now, it clearly tells you that the session is unavailable.
  • Color fix: The visual tags for different "skills" (tools the app can use) were showing up with the wrong colors. They now display correctly.
