This update is mostly about making your workflow smoother and less frustrating. It adds a handy visual preview for generated files, makes it easier to manage background tasks, and fixes a few glitches that were getting in the way of sharing work and saving settings.
What's new
- File previews: When the software creates a new file, it will now automatically open a visual preview of it right in the app, so you don't have to go searching for it yourself.
Improvements
- Task ID prefixes: When the software runs background jobs (like saving a file or processing data), it gives each job a unique ID. You now only need to type the first few letters of that ID to pause or check on a task, instead of typing out the whole long string of characters.
Fixes
/btwmid-stream: The/btwcommand (used to add side notes or follow-up questions while the AI is still generating text) was glitching if you tried to use it in the middle of a response. It now works correctly and sends your follow-up properly.- Model settings: Your settings for the AI model (whether you are in a specific mode or just using the normal setup) were not saving correctly. They now stick the way you want them to.
- Wiki shareable links: A bug was preventing the software from creating web links to share your Wiki pages. That is fixed, so you can share your work again.
- Plugins overlay: If you had the plugins menu open (plugins are add-on tools), pressing the "Escape" key to close it wasn't always working depending on which tab you were on. Now, "Esc" closes it from anywhere.
