This release is all about giving you more control over the AI's abilities while making the software much more stable. It matters most to anyone who uses the app to manage automated tasks, especially if you have a lot of custom skills or plugins running behind the scenes.
What's new
- Skill controls: You can now turn off specific skills (individual abilities or tools the AI can use) one by one. You can also see exactly how a skill's settings apply across different "scopes" (meaning you can check if a rule applies to the whole app, a specific project, or just one task).
Fixes
- Repeated tool calls: The AI was getting stuck in an endless loop, trying to use the same tool over and over. It now recognizes when it's repeating itself and stops.
- Plugin loading: Plugins (add-on tools that give the AI extra features) were sometimes failing to load depending on where or how they were installed. They now load correctly everywhere.
- Hook execution: "Hooks" are automated actions that trigger when something happens. They were accidentally running multiple times for a single event, but now they run exactly once.
- Settings writes: If you changed multiple settings at the exact same time, the software was sometimes using old, saved data to overwrite your new changes. This race condition is fixed.
- Mission Control chat: If you closed the "Mission Control" panel, the chat screen would sometimes glitch and not redraw properly. That visual bug is fixed.
- Sidebar update button: The update button on the side menu was slightly out of place; it has now been lined up correctly.
