This update is all about making the app feel lighter and less glitchy, especially if you use it for long periods. It matters most to developers and coders who juggle multiple projects and need the software to stay out of their way while they work.

What's new

  • Cloned repos in projects: When you download (or "clone") a code repository to your computer, it now automatically shows up in the "projects" dropdown menu when you start a new session. You don't have to go hunting for it on your hard drive anymore.

Improvements

  • Lower memory usage: The app is now much better at taking it easy when you're not actively using it. If you leave a session open and idle for a long time, it won't hog your computer's memory (RAM) like it used to.
  • Word-wise navigation: In some extra text boxes, you can now hold the Option key (on Mac) and press the Left or Right arrow keys to jump your cursor whole words at a time, instead of moving letter-by-letter.

Fixes

  • Resumed hooks: "Hooks" are basically automated triggers that run when certain things happen. If you paused a session and then resumed it, these hook rows were glitching out and not displaying correctly on your screen. That visual bug is now fixed.
  • File encoding: "Encoding" is the rulebook a computer uses to turn text into digital data. Previously, if you edited a file, the app would stubbornly force it to save as UTF-8 (a very common text format), even if it was originally something else. This could secretly corrupt files. It now respects the file's original format.
  • MCP authentication: MCP servers are tools the app talks to, and OAuth is a secure way to log in. If the modern login method failed, the app was supposed to fall back to a simpler username/password login, but that backup broke. The safety net is now fixed.
  • Org switching: If you have accounts with multiple organizations (like school or company teams), the app was getting confused about which one you were actually selecting when you tried to switch between them. This is fixed, including for users in the EU.
