This update is all about giving you a "undo" button for your work and making the day-to-day chat experience smoother. It matters most to developers who use the app to code, especially if you're working on a team where you need everyone to follow the same rules.
What's new
- Rewind conversation: There's a new
/rewind-conversationcommand. It acts like a time machine, letting you roll back both the chat and your actual files to how they looked at an earlier point. - Team hook controls: "Hooks" are automated scripts that run when certain things happen. Now, an organization's admins can manage these hook settings from one central place, making sure all their members use the same rules.
Improvements
- Clickable links: Web addresses (URLs) pasted into your chat messages are now directly clickable.
- Better light theme: If you use the light terminal theme (the screen background is white instead of dark), the white text and colors now render much better and are easier to read.
Fixes
- Fake thinking animation: AI models that don't actually "think" behind the scenes will no longer show a spinning reasoning indicator by mistake.
- Stuck loading animation: Fixed a bug where a shimmering loading animation (a "shimmer") would stay on the screen forever after a task was already finished.
- Windows hook commands: Fixed an issue on Windows computers where special quote marks around hook commands were getting accidentally deleted.
- Server logos: Logos for MCP servers (external tool servers that plug into the app) will now keep their correct, original colors instead of looking washed out.
