This release focuses on making the Devin command-line tool more reliable when it talks to other services. If you use Devin at school or work, these fixes mean fewer annoying freezes and permission errors when you're trying to get your projects done.
Fixes
- No more freezing on slow servers: Devin uses something called MCP (Model Context Protocol) to connect to outside tools and servers. Before, if a server was slow to respond, Devin would just wait forever and freeze up. Now, it gives up after a certain amount of time and automatically tries again to get a fresh connection.
- Fixed a permission error: When using an enterprise login (a school or work account) to start a personal background workspace (called an "outpost"), the command was accidentally getting blocked with an "HTTP 403 Forbidden" error. We fixed the permissions so it now works smoothly.
