This release is all about cutting the cord between you and your desk. If you're learning to code or building projects, you can now use your phone to manage AI helpers that do the heavy lifting in the cloud. It matters most to developers who want to keep their projects moving while they're away from their computer.

What's new

• iOS App (Public Beta): The Cursor mobile app is now available for anyone with a paid account. It lets you launch and manage "agents"—AI assistants that write code for you—from your phone.
• Cloud Agents on Mobile: You can pick a code project on your phone, talk out loud to describe what you want, and the AI will build it. Instead of running on your phone, the AI works in a "virtual machine" (a simulated computer in the cloud) where it can safely test the code it writes.
• Remote Control: If you have an agent running on your laptop, you can use your phone to take over and give it new instructions. You can also force your computer to stay awake so it doesn't go to sleep and pause the agent while you're out.
• Live Activities and Notifications: Your phone's lock screen will show live updates on what your agent is doing. It will also ping you when the AI finishes a task, needs you to answer a question, or wants you to check its work.
• Artifacts and SCM: You can look at everything the agent makes—like preview demos, screenshots, error logs, and "diffs" (which show exactly what lines of code were added or removed). If the code looks good, you can approve and merge it into your main project directly from the app.

Improvements

• Seamless handoffs: You can start a coding session on your laptop, move it to the cloud, and keep it running even when you close your computer. You can then pick it right back up on your phone.
• Enterprise controls: For schools or companies using Team and Enterprise plans, administrators can now turn Remote Control on or off from a central dashboard.
