This release focuses on polishing "Bang Mode," a feature that just came out in the last update. It makes the text easier to read, lets you watch long commands run in real-time, and fixes a bunch of glitches with different AI models so they behave better.

What's new

  • Cancel commands: You can now stop a command while it's still running in Bang Mode.
  • Copy results: You can easily copy the results of a command to your clipboard.
  • Quick start: You can now start a command in Bang Mode just by typing a specific prefix (a short word at the start of your text).
  • Loading spinner: A little spinning icon now shows up to let you know the system is thinking or working.

Improvements

  • Better readability: The text colors in Bang Mode have been tweaked so everything is much easier to see.
  • Live updates: If a command takes a long time to run, you'll see its output immediately as it happens, instead of waiting for it to finish.
  • Better error logs: Error messages and normal text outputs are now mixed together in the correct order, making it easier to figure out what went wrong.

Fixes

  • Session names: Fixed a bug where starting a session with a command would mess up the session's name.
  • Duplicate messages: Fixed a timing glitch that sometimes caused command messages to show up twice.
  • Smarter errors: If an AI model tries to use a tool that doesn't exist (which happens with models like Kimi), the error now helpfully lists the tools that *are* available.
  • Model compatibility: Fixed several issues where certain AI models and services wouldn't work right, including GLM models via Fireworks, some GPT models via Azure, Gemini via VertexAI, and local models running on your own computer.
