This release is a Friday patch that mostly polishes things behind the scenes. It matters most to developers testing the experimental server mode or working inside complex project folders, but everyday users will appreciate the fix that stops accidental clicks when permission pop-ups appear.

What's new

  • Smarter skill discovery in big projects: If you're working in a "monorepo" (a single giant folder that holds multiple smaller projects), Crush can now find your custom "skills" (add-on tools or features) starting from the root of your Git project, rather than getting confused about where to look.
  • Independent server prompts: In the experimental client-server mode (where a central server does the heavy lifting and your app is just the "client" connecting to it), the server can now handle prompts on its own, even if your client disconnects.

Improvements

  • Better background task handling: The experimental server mode is getting much better at running things in the background. It can now handle multiple prompts at once, deal with cancellations properly, and report back if a background task fails early. This sets the stage for Crush to do really cool, powerful things in the future!

Fixes

  • No more accidental permission clicks: When a permission pop-up appeared while you were typing, your keystrokes used to accidentally hit "Allow" or "Deny." Now, Crush ignores your typing for a fraction of a second (350 milliseconds) right when the box pops up, so you don't approve or deny something by mistake.
  • Seeing all available models: The crush models command was only showing the AI models you had already set up. It now correctly shows *all* available models you can choose from.
  • Session rename glitch: Fixed a visual bug where renaming a session (a saved conversation) wouldn't display correctly on your screen.
  • Server stability fixes: Squashed several tricky bugs in the experimental server mode, including issues where canceling one prompt might accidentally mess up future prompts, or where background errors from one task would confuse unrelated tasks.
