• PowerShell safety check: If you try to run a PowerShell script with complex code that the safety scanner cannot fully inspect, Codex will now pause and ask for your approval first instead of just running it.
• Clearer cloud login errors: If your Amazon Bedrock (a cloud AI service) login credentials expire, Codex will now give you helpful steps to fix it instead of showing a confusing, generic error.
• Better image error handling: If you try to send the AI a web link to an image that it cannot access, it will now generate a clear error message explaining why, rather than failing silently. (Uploading local images still works perfectly).
• Smarter file paths for remote tools: Fixed an issue where remote tools running on different operating systems got confused by file paths (the address of where a file is stored).
• Code Mode warnings: Codex will now warn you if the AI model you selected is missing the background information (metadata) it needs to work properly in Code Mode.
• Featured plugins list: Fixed a bug so that the remote plugin store now correctly ranks and displays featured plugins.
