TLDR

You can now attach photos and videos from your phone across all your computers, including Windows and Linux.

If you use your phone to control or chat with ChatGPT while it runs tasks on your computer, this update makes that whole process way smoother. It focuses on making sure your phone stays perfectly in sync with your computer so you can keep an eye on your AI tasks without stuff freezing or disappearing.

Better attachments: You can now send photos and videos from your phone's photo library to your connected computers, whether they are running Windows or Linux. Also, just press and hold the attachment button to instantly grab your recent photos.
Priority view: This new feature puts tasks that need your attention—like things currently running or waiting for your approval—right at the top of your list.
Background sending: When you line up a question or prompt but don't hit send right away, it syncs with your computer and will send automatically, even if you switch to another app.
Live timers: If a task takes a long time, the app will now show a ticking timer so you can see exactly how long it's been working.
Copy thread ID: There's a new menu option to copy a "thread ID" (a unique tag that identifies your specific conversation), which makes it easier to share or track down chats.

Faster task list: Your task list loads quicker and sorts dates more cleanly.
Smoother reading: When the AI gives you a really long answer, it now scrolls out on your screen much smoother without as many visual hiccups.
Handy side chats: If you have a side conversation open, the text will stay visible even if your connection drops and the app can't reconnect to the chat.

Fixed freezing lists: We fixed bugs that caused your projects to disappear or the app to stall when loading your task list.
Fixed stuck sends: Reconnecting to your computer is now much more reliable. This fixes annoying bugs where the "Send" button would get stuck, approvals would go missing, or task updates wouldn't refresh.
Saved side chats: Fixed a bug where your side chat messages would vanish if the connection was lost.
