This update is all about giving you more control over your experience and making the app run smoother. It really matters to anyone who uses the app for complex projects, especially if you juggle multiple chats, use custom commands, or rely on the AI to help you write or review code.

What's new

  • Custom AI personalities: You can now set the AI's vibe for specific hosts (a "host" is basically the website, server, or project you are working on). Choose "Friendly" for a casual chat or "Pragmatic" for straight-to-the-point, business-like answers.
  • Edit goals in the composer: The composer is the text box where you type. You can now tweak your instructions or goals right there instead of digging through menus.
  • Links for forked conversations: If you "fork" a chat (which means you split it to explore a different idea without losing the original), you can now easily click a link to jump back to the first conversation.

Improvements

  • Better side chat visibility: If you have side conversations going, they now sit neatly above the typing area so they don't get lost.
  • Smarter autocomplete: When you start typing a command or trying to use a plugin, the app is much better at guessing what you want, no matter how you start typing it.
  • Clearer progress tracking: When the AI uses "subagents" (mini-AIs that handle smaller chores in the background) or creates "worktrees" (saved copies of your project so you can experiment safely), you can now actually see what it's doing.
  • Smoother workspace tools: Searching for files, reviewing code drafts, and setting up your project hosts are all faster and easier to use.

Fixes

  • Long threads loading: Super long chats were freezing or taking forever to open; that’s fixed now.
  • Face ID unlocking: The Face ID login was acting glitchy, so you can get back into the app smoothly now.
  • Stopping responses: If you hit the "stop" button to cut the AI off mid-sentence, it actually listens and stops right away.
  • Visual glitches fixed: Collapsed sections were acting weird, and the dark mode had some broken icons for project hosts—both are cleaned up.
