This release is all about expanding your options and fixing a behind-the-scenes tracking issue. It matters most to developers who use Cline's SDK bundle (the core software package) and want to try out the latest AI models without having to set them up manually.

What's new

  • More AI models to choose from: The built-in model catalog (the menu of AI brains you can pick from) got a big refresh. It now includes a bunch of new options, like Claude Fable 5, Grok 4.6 on Vertex, several DeepSeek V4 Flash variants (including one that can process images), MiMo v2.5, Qwen3.8 27B, Gemma 4 26B, LongCat 2.0, Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, and Inkling models. Basically, you have more tools to choose from depending on what you're trying to build.

Fixes

  • Fixed task tracking for interactive sessions: Since version 4.1.11, there was a bug where if you stopped an interactive task (a back-and-forth session with the AI), the system wouldn't actually log that the task was finished. This happened because of a messy "teardown" (shutdown) process. Now, every time a session ends, the system correctly reports it as complete exactly once.

Breaking changes

No breaking changes in this release.
