This update is all about giving you more flexibility in choosing the "AI brain" that powers Cline. If you use Google Cloud's Vertex AI (a platform that hosts powerful AI models), this release gives you access to more built-in options and the freedom to connect to custom models that aren't on the default list.
What's new
- More Google Vertex Models: We've expanded the list of available models from Google Cloud's Vertex AI provider, giving you more choices right out of the box.
- Custom Model Typing: If you want to use a specific Vertex AI model that isn't in our dropdown menu, you can now type its name directly into a new free-form text box.
