Cline CLI v3.0.58 Changelog

This update is mostly about behind-the-scenes housekeeping for the Cline CLI tool. It matters most to people who run the app's "hub" (the central control panel) for long periods of time, since it prevents the app from accidentally hogging all your computer's storage. It also refreshes the menu of AI models you can pick from.

What's new

• New AI providers: You can now choose from two new AI services called AgentRouter and Opper.
• Updated model catalog: The master list of AI models you can use has been refreshed with updated pricing across the board.

Improvements

• Storage limits for the event log: The hub keeps a log (a history book) of everything that happens. Before, if you ran the app for a long time, this file could grow massive—sometimes taking up tens of gigabytes of space—because deleting old parts of the log didn't actually shrink the file. Now, the log is capped at 64 MiB (about 64 megabytes). When it gets full, the app automatically tosses out the oldest events first to make room for new ones, saving your storage.

Fixes

• Expired promo removed: The "Try ClinePass" pop-up dialog used to advertise a $4.99 deal for the first month. Since that deal is ending, the ad was removed so you don't see an offer that isn't actually available.

Breaking changes

• New default models: If you use the AI providers Aki.io or NanoGPT and never "pinned" (locked in) a specific model, the app will now automatically switch you to a different default model. This means the AI you are used to working with might suddenly change.
