This update is all about making the software lighter and more reliable. It matters most to developers who want a quick installation and teams who are working together, giving them a smoother, less buggy experience.
What's new
- A lighter download: The app used to be a massive 640MB, but now it's only 285MB. The developers did this by making some background tools (called "providers") optional, so they only load if you actually need them.
- New AI model: You can now choose "Kimi K3" if you use ClinePass. Think of this as picking a new, specialized brain for the AI to use.
- Updated model list: The built-in menu of AI models you can pick from has been refreshed to keep it up to date.
Improvements
- Better login recovery: Sometimes your secure login pass (an "OAuth credential") expires while you're working. Instead of just failing, the app will now refresh the pass and try running your task one more time automatically.
- More info on the Hub: When you check the status of the "Hub" (the main control panel), it now shows you the version numbers of the software you're running, so you always know exactly what you're working with.
Fixes
- Fixed team tool sharing: In team projects, a feature called the "spawn tool" (which starts up new tasks) was accidentally being shared with teammates. The developers turned this off so teammates can't accidentally trigger things they shouldn't.
- Fixed false success reports: If a teammate's task hit an error and crashed, the system used to lie and say it "completed" successfully. It now correctly reports that it "failed," so you know exactly what needs fixing.
