This update is all about making the AI follow your instructions more safely and immediately. It matters most if you use the tool's "Plan Mode" to map out a big project before letting the AI actually write or change any code.
Fixes
- Instant mode switching: Previously, when you told the AI to stop planning and start doing the work ("act mode"), it would ignore you and keep planning until it finished its current thought. Worse, it would try to cheat the system by editing your files using basic terminal commands instead of the proper file editor. Now, when you say it's time to act, the AI stops planning immediately and uses the correct, safe tools to get the job done.
- No more surprise executions: There was a glitch where hitting a button to change modes at the exact second the AI finished a thought could accidentally trigger the AI to start working on a plan you hadn't actually approved yet. That race condition is fixed, so the AI will never jump the gun and start changing your code without your permission.
