This update is all about giving you more control and making the software more reliable. It matters most to developers and power users who use this tool to talk to different AI models, especially if they are working inside strict corporate networks or trying to keep close track of their AI usage costs.

What's new

  • Token counter added: "Tokens" are the chunks of text that AI models read and write. You can now see exactly how many tokens you are using in the status bar, right next to the price tag.
  • SAP AI Core support: You can now use SAP AI Core as your "provider" (the service that actually runs the AI model).
  • Better error messages for organizations: If something goes wrong, the app now gives error details specific to your company or group setup, making it easier to figure out what happened.
  • ClinePass updates: The ClinePass models (special AI setups) are now updated live and are back in the onboarding process for new users.

Improvements

  • Refreshed model catalog: The menu of available AI models has been updated with the newest options from various providers.
  • Smarter LiteLLM handling: LiteLLM is a tool that connects to many different AIs. The app now fetches your model list more directly and filters out unrelated models so your screen is less cluttered.
  • Better OpenRouter integration: OpenRouter is another AI provider. The app now better respects your choice to turn off the AI's "reasoning" (step-by-step thinking) and speeds things up by caching (saving) your prompts when possible.
  • Proxy and CA-aware networking: If your school or company uses a "proxy" (a middleman server for internet traffic) or custom security certificates, the app is now much better at working smoothly with them.
  • Saved Bedrock settings: Bedrock is Amazon's AI service. Your settings for it are now properly saved to a file, so they won't disappear.
  • More reliable tool calls: Sometimes the AI tries to use a tool (like searching the web) but sends messy data. The app now cleans up that data behind the scenes so the tools work more reliably.

Fixes

  • "EMPTY CONTENT" error: Fixed a bug where a confusing "ERROR: EMPTY CONTENT" message would pop up whenever something else went wrong.
  • Packaging crash: Fixed a hidden issue with how the app was bundled up. Before this fix, the app could completely break when you tried to run it.
