This update is all about giving you more control. If you use Claude to help write code, this matters because the AI used to automatically run background checks on your work. Now, it waits for your command, letting you work faster and only run checks when you actually need them.
Improvements
- Less interruption: Claude used to automatically run "skills" (built-in tools for checking code) like
/verifyand/code-reviewon its own. Now, it waits for you to type those commands. This means Claude won't interrupt your workflow to do a deep dive on your code unless you actually ask it to.
