This update is a behind-the-scenes cleanup for anyone using Claude Code with the Claude Sonnet 5 AI model. It changes how the AI is reminded of its rules during a chat, making your coding sessions run more smoothly and efficiently.
Fixes
- Cleaner conversations with Claude Sonnet 5: Previously, the system would inject hidden "reminders" (called harness reminders, which tell the AI about the coding environment it is working in) right in the middle of your chat. This has been stopped. The AI will no longer get these mid-conversation interruptions, which keeps the chat history cleaner and prevents the AI from getting confused by sudden background instructions.
