Bolt.new August 24, 2026 Changelog

Bolt's latest update is all about saving you time and making project management easier. If you're someone who likes to work fast or you collaborate with a team, these changes mean you spend less time waiting around and less time doing boring cleanup tasks.

What's new

• Line up instructions while Bolt works: Instead of waiting for Bolt to finish coding before you type your next idea, you can now send up to 20 prompts (instructions). Bolt will put them in a queue (a waiting line) and do them one by one. Each instruction remembers which "agent" (a specific AI helper) you picked for it.
• Control your queue: While your instructions are waiting in line, you can edit them, change their order, or delete them. You can even pause the whole list if you need to, and start it again later.
• Team queues: If you're working on a shared project with friends or classmates, everyone can add instructions to the line. Each instruction shows a small profile picture (avatar) of who sent it so you know who asked for what.

Improvements

• One-step project deletion: Getting rid of a project you don't need is now much cleaner. In the past, you had to delete it in two different places. Now, hitting delete does it all: it unlinks any custom web addresses, takes your live website offline, deletes the project's database, and wipes your files and chat history. Before you finally delete it, Bolt gives you a chance to download a copy to your computer just in case. Also, if your project uses outside tools that Bolt can't touch (like a separate database or web settings), Bolt will tell you exactly what's left over so you can go clean those up yourself. For team projects, only the owner or admins are allowed to delete things.
