What's new
- Plan Mode: This replaces the old "Discussion Mode." It lets you talk through your ideas and figure out a build strategy with the AI *without* it actually touching or changing your code. It's perfect for thinking out loud before you start building.
Improvements
- Automatic project upgrades: If you had a project still using the old v1 Agent, it has been smoothly switched over to the current Bolt Agent. You don't have to do anything, and your project files and chat history remain exactly as they were.
Breaking changes
- The v1 Agent (the old version of the AI assistant) and Discussion Mode are now completely retired. If you relied on them, you'll need to use the Bolt Agent and the new Plan Mode moving forward.
